Does anyone here use a SIEM system that interfaces well with Aptible?

SIEM systems seem somewhat out of scope for small businesses, but the topic has come up a few times in security questionnaires. Any advice on the topic, in general, would be greatly appreciated.

Splunk has a cloud offering that ingests syslog, although their lowest monthly plan is $800+. They have a 15-day trial. Might be worth checking out.
