What are published SLA from Aptible for Availability, RPO and RTO for the service ?

Aptible systems are designed such that Aptible’s own RPO and RTO shouldn’t impact our customers’ RPO & RTO outside of what’s documented in our Service Level Agreement.
For your own RTO and RPO, this is largely dependent on your own needs and can be influenced by your own choices. For example with RPO, the default database backup interval is 24 hours, so without changes, that’s going to be the baseline. However, you could make changes (e.g. utilizing database replication or clustering or manually creating more frequent backups) which may decrease your RPO substantially. Similarly, RTO is going to largely depend on your willingness and tolerance. Using the Aptible CLI to restore from backup takes ~30 minutes at worst (when additional hardware needs provisioned), but that can be decreased by using database replication or clustering.
